‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ , ‘Enter the Dragon’ actor John Sexon dead, 83. John Saxon, famous for his negative role in the horror movies, died on july 25, Saturday. He has worked in more than 200 films and had experience of over 60 years. John Saxon still remembered for his outstanding work in “Enter the Dragon” with Bruce Lee and for ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ directed by Wes Craven. He was 83 years old when died.
According to his wife John Saxon died due to pneumonia in his Murfreesboro, as per report of HollywoodReporter.
John Saxon was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1935. His family gave him name “Carmine Orrico”.In the wake of graduating secondary school he concentrated with celebrated acting mentor Stella Adler. Not long after Universal Studios contracted him and mentioned he be renamed to John Saxon. He was additionally eminently gifted in judo and karate.
The mid to late 50s considered Saxon to be as a high schooler symbol with credits in films Rock, Pretty Baby, Summer Love, The Reluctant Debutante and Cry Tough.
In 1960 Saxon worked with chief John Huston in The Unforgiven. He played an Indian on the side of Burt Lancaster and Audrey Hepburn.
Saxon said in a meeting with the Chicago Daily Tribune in 1960 that he “needed to do a wide range of character parts.”
He was married three times. He was married to Mary Ann Murphy from 1967 to 1979, Elizabeth Saxon from 1987 to 1992 and, since 2008, to Gloria Martel. Survivors also include his son, Antonio, and his sister, Dolores.
Born in Brooklyn in 1935 as Carmine Orrico, the eldest son of an Italian immigrant house painter, Saxon was discovered by talent agent Henry Willson, who also helped launch the careers of Rock Hudson, Robert Wagner and John Derek.
